Maumee, OH and the shop at 820 Matzinger Rd

Your truck is in Maumee. Here is the fastest route to a tech who works on it today.

Maumee is where the Turnpike, US-24, US-20 and I-475 all come together on the west side of Toledo. Plenty of freight moves through Arrowhead Park and the Dussel Dr and Salisbury Rd business parks. Not much of it gets fixed there, because the shops along Reynolds Rd are built for pickups, not for a Class 8 with a 53-foot trailer behind it.

We are on the other side of town, about 25 minutes away, with four technicians, an alignment rack that fits a tandem and a DOT inspector on staff. The drive is shorter than the wait at most dealers.

Directions from Maumee to 820 Matzinger Rd

Two ways. Both end the same.

By the Trail: take US-24, the Anthony Wayne Trail, northeast along the river into Toledo. Follow the signs for I-75 north near exit 201. Stay on I-75 north about 6 miles, past the I-475 junction, Jeep Parkway and Phillips Ave, to exit 207, Stickney Ave / Lagrange St. North on Stickney about a mile, right on Matzinger Rd. About 16 miles. About 25 minutes with the lights on the Trail.

By I-475: get on I-475 north at exit 4 (the Trail) or exit 6 (Dussel Dr and Salisbury Rd). Follow I-475 around the west side of Toledo past Airport Hwy, Central Ave and Secor Rd. At exit 20, take 20A for I-75 north. Three miles to exit 207. About 20 miles, all freeway, about 25 minutes.

The shop is just east of Stickney on Matzinger, on the same campus as Sam’s Travel Center and Sam’s Parking & Storage.

From the Turnpike: exit 59 drops you on Reynolds Rd (US-20). Dussel Dr west to I-475 north and follow the second route. About 17 miles.
